- Prepare, proofread, and edit commercial real estate and finance documents (leases, purchase agreements, loan documents, easements, closing binders)*
- Coordinate and support transaction closings with clients, lenders, title companies, and third parties*
- Maintain deal checklists, track milestones, and assist attorneys to ensure timely closings*
- Manage attorney calendars, including meetings, deadlines, and closings*
- Organize and maintain client files within the document management system*
- Handle new business intake, conflict checks, and matter opening/closing*
- Enter attorney time and assist with billing, including pre-bill review and edits*
- Answer and route calls and respond to client and internal inquiries*
- Perform administrative duties including correspondence, expense reports, CLE tracking, and check requests
- High school diploma required*
- Minimum 5+ years of law firm experience supporting commercial real estate and/or real estate finance*
- Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, finance terminology, and closing processes
- Experience drafting transactional documents and coordinating complex closings preferred*
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; iManage and Aderant experience a plus*
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills*
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities*
- Strong client-service mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively*
- Professional discretion with confidential information*
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed
