Real Estate Paralegal Fort Lauderdale, FL Direct Hire In-Office TempExperts is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join a respected law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm setting, specializing in real estate. This role supports a complex commercial real estate practice and requires a collaborative, detail-oriented professional with strong title and survey skills, technical proficiency, and excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities: Prepare and review closing documents for commercial and residential real estate transactions. Assist in drafting and reviewing loan documents, including UCC Financing Statements. Coordinate closings by maintaining checklists, preparing signature packages, reviewing settlement statements, and liaising with transaction parties. Order and review title and survey documents, prepare objection letters, and draft memoranda and escrow closing letters. Collect due diligence items such as zoning letters, UCC/judgment searches, entity documents, good standing certificates, and estoppel letters. Review and abstract UCC/judgment/lien search results. Obtain and analyze zoning reports and conduct zoning assessments. Review leases and prepare lease abstracts. Manage document filing and recording processes. Compile closing binders and handle post-closing documentation. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in title and survey review, with strong technical and communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage urgent requests, and maintain accuracy under pressure. Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation requirements. Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with professionalism and diplomacy. Creative thinking and ability to implement process improvements. Availability to work core hours (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM) with flexibility for overtime as needed.
