Receiving Associate

Purpose of PositionReceive, unload, sort and record all inbound product accurately and productively and maintain paperwork integrity of all receipts received.Duties and Responsibilities of the Receiving Associate· Accurately receive all inbound product in assigned work area using an RF gun.· Unloading of trailers both physically and or with forklift equipment.· Sorting product and counting product to verify quantities match packing slips.· Auditing integrity of product.· Other duties including tagging of product when needed.· Organizing and keeping track of paperwork for each order processed.· Help with some problem resolution.· Maintain a clean and safe work environment while exercising good housekeeping skills· Complete all other tasks assigned by supervisorRequired Skills for the Receiving Associate

· Have the ability to use RF devices and computers and have basic math skills.· Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Education and TrainingAll Receiving Associates should possess a High School Diploma, or equivalent.Physical RequirementsThis position involves a variety of physical activities including: talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. This position requires regular bending, twisting, overhead lifting, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs. Visual acuity is required for inventory stocking and report analysis.Environmental Factors:

· Loud at times· Dusty at times· Indoor temperatures will fluctuate by season – may be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.· The operation of, or work near the operation of motorized handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, electric pallet jacks, conveyor controls, pallet turn tables, elevated dock doors, etc.
