PGS Worldwide is seeking a Receiving Inspector in Nashua, NH for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role verifies, inspects, and records receipt of incoming material to ensure timely delivery to designated areas. You will check incoming shipments for quantity and damage, match paperwork to contents and purchasing records, document discrepancies, and route packages per inspection codes while following handling requirements for classified and/or hazardous materials.
Required Skills
High school diploma
1 2 years of related receiving/warehouse experience (as stated)
Ability to visually inspect incoming material for quantity and damage to packaging or contents
Ability to compare paperwork against contents and purchasing records and record verification in the system
Ability to document missing/damaged parts and complete required paperwork
Ability to follow company guidelines for handling classified and/or hazardous materials
Ability to route packages according to inspection code
Basic understanding of PC applications
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work with small complex parts in a cleanroom environment and use special handling tools (vacuum release stations, vacuum pick-up tools, microscopes) as needed
May be required to hold a government clearance (as stated)
