Shipping & Receiving/ Forklift OperatorSUMMARY OF POSITIONTo keep accurate records to all materials received and inventoried. Inspect shipments, andreconcile packing slips or manifests with actual items, and verify that materials are delivered tocorrect departments or properly stored in warehouse.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Review all incoming items, inspecting them for quality, and ensuring proper paperwork isreceived. Enter all raw materials into MAS 500 system, verify entry, and post transactions. Locate and consolidate received materials to a bin location in the warehouse. Work closely with other departments to ensure a steady flow of materials needed to meetcustomer demand. Move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility, using handtrucks, forklifts, etc. Use of a handheld scanner to track and locate all materials. Maintains thorough knowledge of assigned processes and equipment. Reports any process and equipment problems to the attention of upper management and/orthe Maintenance Supervisor. Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the area andmeeting quality and quantity standards. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and qualityof product. Recognize non-confirming goods and to inform Quality Assurance Manager. Effective utilization of required systems, including HQMS, Sage 500 ERP/DSCS, and handheldscanners. Ensures established safety protocol is followed.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to performthe essential functions.JOB REQUIREMENTS The ability to maintain computerized inventory system promptly and accurately. Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management. Have a goodcommand of the English language. Experience operating powered industrial trucks, including forklifts, Order Pickers, Walkies,Trans-Stackers, and Clamp Trucks. Certification is desirable. Ability to read and interpret work orders for processing. Ability to use simple math and basic hand help measuring tools. Strong organizational and planning skills. High school diploma or equivalency degree.

PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, light tomoderate physical effort is required. Ability to lift or maneuver materials in excess of 45+lbs. Regularlyrequired to stand, reach and move about the facility.WORK ENVIRONMENTThis is a fast-paced work environment with consistent pressure to complete duties as outlined abovewhich requires ability to manage multiple projects at a detailed level and provide support to manyinternal departments in a fast-changing environment. Many duties listed above are time-sensitive andhave strict deadlines for completion. Work performed in a Warehouse Manufacturing/DistributionPlant environment. Exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of beingdisagreeable.
