Job Description

Receiving Specialist– Manufacturing | $22/hr Claremore OR Tulsa, OK | Contract-to-Hire | Full-TimeOverview A Tulsa-based manufacturing company is hiring for a Receiving Specialist to support daily warehouse operations. These are two distinct paths within the same team—one focused on inbound materials and inventory. The right fit depends on your experience:

Receiving roles are ideal for detail-oriented, system-driven candidates
Shipping roles require hands-on experience coordinating LTL, FTL, or hotshot freight

If you have experience in either area, there’s a place to plug in. Work Schedule & Pay

Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $22/hour
Type: Contract-to-Hire (~90 days). This is meant to be a permanent position based on performance/attendance!

Key ResponsibilitiesReceiving Skills:

Verify incoming materials against purchase orders
Enter receipts into ERP system with high accuracy
Inspect shipments for damage, discrepancies, and quantities
Maintain receiving logs, documentation, and labeling
Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and data entry

Additional Responsibilities:

Communicate with warehouse, production, and purchasing teams
Maintain organized, clean, and audit-ready work areas
Assist with inventory control and material movement tracking
Use Excel or similar tools for tracking and reporting

Required Qualifications

Experience in receiving, inventory, or warehouse support
Strong data entry and computer skills
ERP system experience (any platform)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excel or spreadsheet experience (basic functions), or more extensive work done in ERP system that is transferrable for Excel. Basically, you need to be computer/system savvy.
Ability to lift 30–50 lbs as needed
Reliable, organized, and consistent work ethic

Preferred Experience

Manufacturing or industrial environment
Familiarity with purchase orders, packing slips, or freight documents
Experience with cycle counts or inventory control
Forklift certification (a plus)
