Receptionist- Insurance AgencyOffice location – Altoona, PALocal, Independent Insurance Agency is seeking an outgoing, detailed oriented and experienced Receptionist to join their team.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a receptionist in a fast-paced office setting
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer knowledge and accurate typing skills
• Currently holds or is willing to obtain PA Property & Casualty Insurance License
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Must be enthusiastic, confident, outgoing, and initiative taking
• Strong ability to communicate clearly via written and verbal communications
• Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines
• High School diploma or GED required

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Manage inbound phone calls and emails and route them accordingly
• Complete outbound calls to and from current and prospective insurance customers
• Greets visitors in a friendly and helpful manner
• Directs guests to the appropriate point of contact
• General office duties (faxing, filing, copying, printing, mailing, taking payments, etc.)
• Maintain a neat and orderly desk and office appearance

Schedule and Compensation Overview:

• Monday- Friday 8:30-4:30
• Hourly rate based on related experience (a 37.5-hour work week)
