White Oak is looking for a front desk receptionist
A Front Receptionist in a skilled nursing facility serves as the first point of contact, managing the front desk by greeting visitors, answering multi-line phones, and directing inquiries. They maintain safety, ensure visitor sign-in compliance, manage mail, and provide administrative support to staff, families, and residents with a warm, professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities
- Visitor & Resident Interaction: Welcoming guests, monitoring visitor logs, ensuring compliance with COVID-19 or facility safety protocols.
- Communication Hub: Operating a multi-line phone system, taking messages, and paging staff.
- Clerical Support: Processing incoming/outgoing mail, filing, data entry, scheduling, and assisting with admissions paperwork.
- Administrative Duties: Handling courier packages, maintaining office supplies, and potentially managing petty cash or resident trust funds.
- Emergency Response: Acting as a key contact for emergencies and coordinating with staff during facility incidents. Indeed +6
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills, with a cheerful and professional demeanor.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and multi-line phone systems.
- Organization: Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: Previous receptionist experience, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
