Location: Little Rock, AR (Onsite)Job Type: ContractDuration: 3 months, with possibility of extension or conversionSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with flexibility between 9:00 AM–4:00 PMHours: 30–40 hours per weekPay: Up to $18.10/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and dependable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors at a financial services office. This position will support daily office operations while maintaining a welcoming, organized, and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
- Manage front desk and visitor sign-in procedures
- Schedule appointments and assist with calendar requests
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
- Maintain an organized reception area
- Assist with filing, data entry, document preparation, and other administrative tasks
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Support routine office operations and escalate questions or issues when appropriate
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months of receptionist, administrative, customer service, or operations support experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional and welcoming demeanor
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Preferred Experience
- Financial services, banking, or professional office experience
- Front desk or receptionist experience
- Appointment scheduling and calendar management
- Mail handling, filing, and document preparation
- Experience working in a client-facing environment
Work Environment
- Professional office setting
- Primarily seated desk work with occasional standing and walking
- Regular interaction with clients and visitors
- Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering phones, and handling incoming mail
