Job Title: Receptionist/Secretory Employment Type: Contract Work Hours: 40 hrs./week Work site: 100% Onsite Location: 855 Central Ave, Albany NY 12206 Job Duration: 2 Years Closing: 9/24/2026. Position Overview: The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking temporary Receptionists/Secretaries to assist at Albany, NY. Job D uties:
- Greet and assist customers.
- Screen and process customer paperwork.
- Manage customer flow using the queuing system.
- Grade and record results of vision tests.
- Enter passing vision test results into the computer system.
- Provide guidance to customers using DMV self-service kiosks.
- Capture customer photos for driver's licenses.
- Proctor various DMV tests.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computers and data entry systems.
- Experience working in a New York State Agency.
- Familiarity with DMV operations or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Free parking facility available.
- Interviews conducted in person or online based on the availability.
- Training will be provided.
