Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking anexperiencedRecords Specialist to join ourImaging Servicesteam.
In this role, you will be responsible forensuring the physical and digital integrity of classified government recordswhile performing high-volume document preparation and scanning tasks.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
- Responsibility 1: Execute High-Volume Document Preparation and Scanning:Perform all tasks necessary to convert hardcopy files into quality electronic images, including sorting and preparing hard copy records for scanning and assuring a quality image.
- Responsibility 2: Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders to Maintain Standards:Follow production procedures and completing internal documentation & tracking to ensure records maintain their order and sequence. You will communicate predominantly with Imaging Center personnel regarding personal production updates and job-specific questions/clarification.
- Responsibility 3: Ensure Compliance with Contractual and Security Requirements:Adhere to Imaging Center guidelines , maintaining a clean work environment, and strictly following all security and operational policies required for this sensitive government contract.
What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Less than 2 yearsof experience in document management or a related field.
- Strong knowledgeof PC and other computer-related products , with proven proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- Proven abilityto key a minimum of10,000 Keystrokes Per Hour (KPH)or50 Words Per Minute (WPM), and be able to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work.
- Must be a US Citizenand possess anACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE.
- Identified candidates must successfully complete and clear a background check and drug test prior to start.
What We Offer (Benefits)
- Salary details:$17.75/hr (Eligible for SCA Pay of up to an additional $5.09/hr (if benefits are declined).
- Shifts:7:30 am - 4:00 pm (Monday through Friday).
