Recruiter, Oncology Staffing

About the Position:

The Recruiter, Oncology Staffing is tasked with developing and maintaining relationships within the Radiation Oncology medical professional network in efforts to place candidates in Oncology contract assignments.

This position will be onsite at our offices in Tampa, Florida.

Epic Specialty Staffing offers staffing solutions for direct hire, interim management, locum tenens assignments, and remote treatment planning. We are a comprehensive Oncology and Cardiovascular clinical staffing partner to hospitals around the country.

What You’ll Do:

• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships, and recruit top Radiation Oncology medical professional talent. 
• Utilize various recruitment channels (job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, networking events, referrals, etc.) to source qualified prospects. 
• Routinely communicate with Radiation Oncology medical professional prospects, developing and maintaining relationships, presenting relevant opportunities based on prospect interests, qualifications, and client expectations for the role. 
• Effectively qualify prospects’ area of expertise, appropriate utilization of experience for future contracts. 
• Negotiate compensation packages with prospects, effectively communicating benefits of contract assignments within our Specialty Oncology service offerings, benefits, services, etc. 
• Supports team with all necessary tools and training to improve industry acumen, system expertise, and continued career growth. 
• Conduct candidate reference checks and other pre-employment screenings. 
• Provide professional guidance and counseling to prospects on interview preparation, resume and profile design, navigating logistics during their contract, overall support during their job search and process. 
• Deliver excellent customer service to candidates and internal team members and departments. 
• Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss open jobs and priorities. 
• Act as main point of contact for Oncology contract staffing assignments. 
• Actively engage in process improvement and efficiency best practices. 
• Utilize Target Recruit (ATS/CRM) per company and organizational policies and procedures. 
• Partner with supporting departments to ensure overall excellence regarding customer service experience. 

What You’ll Bring

• Two years of experience in a staffing company production role in specialized staffing services preferred. 
• Knowledge of Oncology Medicine medical professionals’ roles in Acute Care and Cancer Center environments preferred.   

Salary: $50,000 + Commission
