Position Overview
We're seeking a Recruiter & Talent Operations Coordinator to lead our hiring efforts across educational roles including teachers, therapists, administrators, and support staff. This role requires experience in education sector recruiting, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to identify candidates who align with our mission of student success.
KeyResponsibilities
- Source and recruit qualified educators, therapists, and administrative staff
- Manage full-cycle recruiting process from initial outreach through offer negotiation
- Build and maintain talent pipeline using applicant tracking systems
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interview processes
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and team dynamics
- Develop recruiting strategies for hard-to-fill positions
- Maintain relationships with educational institutions and professional networks- Support onboarding process for new hires
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in education or healthcare
- Understanding of educational roles, certifications, and licensing requirements
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Knowledge of employment law and hiring best practices
- Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in education or experience recruiting for schools/districts
- Familiarity with special education and therapy roles
- Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring
- Knowledge of teacher certification and licensing processes
- Existing network of education professionals
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
Success Metrics
- Fill 3-5 open positions within first 90 days
- Maintain average time-to-fill of 30 days or less
- Achieve 90%+ hiring manager satisfaction scores
