JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition SummaryThe Recruiter plays a key role in consulting, sourcing, and recruiting of entry- and some mid-level bargaining/union positions. The Recruiter will cultivate internal and external relationships and provide consultation and partnership to ensure best-in-class candidate and hiring leader experience while embedding brand and Diversity & Inclusion into every step of the recruiting process.Essential ResponsibilitiesSourcing: Develop diverse talent pipelines based on anticipated needs and guidance from business leaders.Business Relationships: Develop business acumen and create relationships with business areas and labor relations. Provide consultation that demonstrates knowledge of the business and understanding of the talent market.Recruitment: Accountable for full life cycle recruiting of entry- and mid-level bargaining/union postings. Effectively partner with stakeholders and utilize sourcing techniques. Clearly define and drive tactics and timeline for sourcing, service, assessment, selection. Partner with team and stakeholders to ensure a seamless flow of service to the customer internal and external.Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop best practices and foster idea generation to drive continuous improvement efforts. Assist in coordinating Xcel Energy TA programs, and other duties as assigned.Minimum RequirementsBS/BA degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is highly preferred but not required5+ years fully cycle recruiting experience required (highly preferred with bargaining/union hiring)Experience in partnering with Labor RelationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyWillingness to learn and grow with agilityDetail and process orientedExperience with recruitment programs and sourcing strategies (including local events and diversity recruitment) preferredAbility to travel occasionally and commute to events and company locations as needed.
