Paul Davis Restoration is seeking an experienced Recruiter who knows that great candidates don't always apply to job postings-you have to go find them.

We're looking for someone who can strike up a conversation with a stranger, recognize talent, and confidently approach people who may not even be considering a career change. You should enjoy the hunt: finding the right person, starting the conversation, building the relationship, and creating interest in an opportunity.

This role also requires the ability to manage high-volume recruiting for our entry-level field and labor positions. On any given day, you may be sourcing an experienced professional while managing a large pipeline of applicants for field positions. Organization, attention to detail, urgency, and follow-through are essential.

Recruiting experience is required. We want someone who understands how to source, screen, engage, and move candidates through the hiring process-not someone who simply posts jobs and waits for applications.

At Paul Davis, our mission is to provide extraordinary care while serving people in their time of need following water, fire, mold, storm, and other property disasters. Our people are the heart of what we do, and we're committed to a positive culture built on teamwork, integrity, and growth.

Schedule: Approximately 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo, Indeed, networking, referrals, social media, industry groups, and creative sourcing methods
  • Identify and engage passive candidates who may not be actively looking
  • Build talent pipelines before positions become urgent
  • Manage high-volume recruiting for entry-level field and labor positions
  • Review applications and quickly identify strong candidates
  • Conduct phone screens and initial interviews
  • Look beyond the resume to identify work ethic, attitude, potential, and transferable skills
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate interviews
  • Maintain consistent candidate communication and follow-up
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and understand their workforce needs
  • Participate in job fairs, networking, and community outreach
  • Maintain accurate applicant tracking and recruiting records

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or sourcing experience required
  • Proven experience proactively sourcing and engaging passive candidates
  • Comfortable starting conversations with people you don't know and building rapport quickly
  • A hunter mentality-you don't rely solely on inbound applicants
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ATS platforms, resume databases, social media, and other sourcing tools
  • Experience with high-volume recruiting, preferably for entry-level, skilled labor, field, or trades positions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a large candidate pipeline
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and directly approaching prospective candidates
  • Strong interviewing and communication skills
  • Organized, resourceful, self-motivated, and accountable
  • Ability to work with urgency while providing a positive candidate experience

What Success Looks Like

You build relationships and talent pipelines before we desperately need someone. You're comfortable approaching talented people and starting conversations about opportunities they weren't looking for.

At the same time, you can efficiently manage high-volume hiring, identify strong candidates, stay organized, and keep the process moving.

Most importantly, you understand that recruiting isn't just about filling openings-it's about finding great people who will make our company better.

Benefits

  • PTO and company-paid holidays
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) with employer contribution
  • Paid professional and industry training
  • Career growth opportunities
