Overview
Job Description
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source candidates through job boards (Indeed & LinkedIn), referrals, and networking.
- Screen resumes, conduct phone and in-person interviews, and facilitate candidate selection.
- Manage job postings and maintain applicant tracking systems.
- Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and safety orientation.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate HR records.
- Support performance management processes, including evaluations and goal setting.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and workplace safety regulations.
- Partner with employees to address questions, provide clarity on policies, and support positive work experience.
- Help develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain employee training databases and safety training documentation.
- Support OSHA compliance efforts and related reporting requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Two or more years professional experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A desire to foster employee career development, internal promotion, and long-term employment.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, EHS regulations, and HR best practices.
- Proficient in ERP systems, Payroll systems, HRIS software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience
