Description

  • Officiate flag football games, ensuring adherence to the established rules and regulations
  • Make impartial and accurate decisions regarding gameplay, fouls, and other game events
  • Maintain composure and professionalism during games, addressing any conflicts or disputes as needed
  • Communicate effectively with players, coaches, and other officials
  • Report game outcomes and any incidents to the appropriate authority or league official
  • Attend required training sessions and meetings

Schedule

  • Sundays 12-5
  • position is active March 22- May 17 and may have additional opportunities beyond that date

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of the rules and regulations of Flag Football
  • Strong decision making skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to resolve conflict and handle disputes effectively
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Must have transportation to off site location

Physical Requirements

  • Physical fitness and stamina to keep up with the pace of the game
  • Constant standing, walking and exposure to the weather outdoors
  • Frequent walking/running, eye/hand/foot coordination, talking and hearing
