Job Description
We are hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated Publix account, transporting groceries in refrigerated trailers. Enjoy no-touch freight, competitive pay, modern sleeper trucks, and a consistent five-day workweek with consecutive days off.
Pay & Earnings
- Average annual pay: $80,000–$85,000
- Top annual pay: $95,000
- Mileage pay: $0.60 per mile
- Stop pay: $16.25 per stop
- Layover pay: $31.50 per night away from home
- Detention pay: $20 per hour
- Paid weekly
Schedule & Home Time
- Five-day workweek, with an optional sixth day
- Two consecutive days off, typically Tuesday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Thursday
- Morning and afternoon start times available
- Weekend work required
- Approximately 3–4 layovers per week
- Regional routes through Tennessee, North Carolina, and the Florida Panhandle
Freight & Equipment
- Haul grocery loads for dedicated customer Publix
- Refrigerated (reefer) trailers
- No-touch freight
- Assigned late-model Freightliner Cascadia sleeper trucks
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Previous sleeper truck experience required
- Ability to work weekends and complete regional routes with overnight layovers
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 9 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
- No SAP Drivers
- Clean driving record
- DOT Medical card
- Able to work weekends
