The Regional Manager, Supply Chain is responsible for leading and overseeing supply chain operations supporting field operations and After Market Services. This role ensures the timely availability of parts and materials required to support field compression operations, maintenance activities, and fleet reliability.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead regional supply chain operations supporting operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and vendor coordination.
- Serve as the primary supply chain partner to regional operations, field supervisors, and Supply Chain leadership, ensuring alignment with operational priorities and equipment uptime.
- Oversee inventory accuracy and material flow across the warehouse and field locations; minimize stockouts while controlling excess inventory.
- Manage relationships with local, regional, and national suppliers supporting compression equipment, engines, and related services.
- Implement and enforce standardized supply chain processes, controls, and policies aligned with Kodiak Gas Services' corporate strategy.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including expedited and critical‑path shipments to field locations.
- Monitor and manage key supply chain performance metrics, including inventory turns, service levels, cost performance, and vendor compliance.
- Lead, coach, and develop regional supply chain team members; promote safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements without compromising safety or reliability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field
(Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- Supply chain, logistics, or operations certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPM, Lean, Six Sigma) preferred
Work Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or materials management.
- Experience supporting field‑based, industrial, or energy operations, preferably within natural gas, oil & gas, power generation, or similar environments preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing supply chain operations across multiple locations or yards.
- Experience supporting 24/7, rotational, or remote field operations preferred.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong leadership and people‑management skills with the ability to lead distributed teams.
- In‑depth understanding of inventory management, procurement, logistics, and vendor management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively in fast‑paced, operationally critical environments.
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels.
- Proficiency with ERP, inventory management, and procurement systems.
- Results‑driven with a practical, hands‑on approach.
- Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Physical Demands
- Ability to work in a variety of environments including extreme heat and cold.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Up to 50% travel required.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. unaided.
- Must be able to work under pressure and occasionally long or irregular hours as needed.
