Job Description
We have a great client that is looking for a Regional Warehouse Operations Consultant/Manager! This is a 1-to-3-month contract opportunity.Travel will include Irvington, NJ, Sutton, MA, and Tarentum, PAPosition Summary:The Regional Warehouse Operations Manager oversees multiple warehouse locations to ensure efficient logistics, inventory control and accuracy, and supply chain performance (i.e. productivity, quality, safety). The Regional Warehouse Operations Manager will analyze regional processes, implement/reinforce standardized procedures across locations, instill discipline and consistency on processes and procedures, optimize layouts for efficiency, manage costs, train/develop Warehouse Supervisors, manage staff performance, and serve as liaison between senior leadership and site-level supervision to ensure successful execution of strategic goals. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Regional Oversight: Manages operational activities across multiple sites to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Analyzes and improves warehouse processes, procedures, productivity, and safety standards.
- Inventory & Logistics: Maintains inventory control & accuracy and oversees regional shipping/receiving workflows.
- Leadership & Talent: Trains/develop Warehouse Supervisors, manages staff performance, and ensures adherence to company policies.
- Performance Tracking: Evaluates key performance indicators (KPIs), tracks progress, drives corrective action as needed, and prepares operational reports.
