Mindful Sprouts is hiring for RBT jobs in Delray Beach FL, offering a meaningful opportunity to help children with exceptionalities achieve their goals. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work in homes, schools, and community environments to provide consistent and individualized ABA therapy.In this role, you will be responsible for implementing behavior plans developed by a supervising BCBA. Additionally, you’ll deliver direct instruction, track client progress through data collection, and maintain professional communication with families and team members. Responsibilities:
- Provide Applied Behavior Analysis intervention to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or related exceptionalities.
- Provide intervention as outlined in the client’s program by the associated BCBA.
- Collect and display data in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Assist in updating client's program as instructed by the associated BCBA.
- Implement behavioral procedures for inappropriate/maladaptive child behaviors as instructed or as outlined in the client’s program.
- Maintain records in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Notify management of emergencies or significant incident; suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation; and/or changes in client status in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Arrive to appointments, meetings, trainings, etc. at the scheduled time.
- Return phone calls, electronic mail, and other correspondence in a timely fashion.
- Conduct self in a professional manner and treat all clients, customers, co-workers, and others with dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity.
- Follow all clinical and administrative policies and procedures.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Preferred bachelor's degree. High School Diploma or working on bachelor’s degree in special education, early childhood education, speech/language disorders, psychology, or related field.
- Satisfactorily completed a minimum 40-hour RBT certification course from an accredited institution.
- 1 year experience working with children.
- Proficient in English. Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese/English) preferred.
- Dependable and passionate about helping children and adolescents.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and car insurance. Ability to get to and from appointments.
- Must have successfully passed criminal background screening.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
