Job Description

Job Duties:

Greeting patients;
Telephone interactions with ancillary services and outside facilities;
Scheduling;
Pre-certifications/pre-authorizations;
Rooming patients;
Obtaining patient vitals and histories;
EMR documentation (must be a REGISTERED or CERTIFIED Medical Assistant);
Assisting physician/provider with exams;
Monitoring, cleaning, and stocking patient exam rooms;
Other duties as assigned or necessary.

Requirements:

Must have Clinical Medical Assisting certification (R.M.A. or C.C.M.A.) credentials or other qualifying certification;
Previous medical office experience is required;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deliver quality patient care;
Experience with electronic medical records/proficient computer skills;
Ability to work in fast-paced environment with flexibility;
Positive attitude and approach;
Highly organized;
As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and maintain associated workplace trainings.
