Your Role & Impact
The Mobile Clinic Registered Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting the dentist in the direct provision of dental services to patients of the Mobile Clinic. The RDA will register patients, check them in, accept payments, and work chairside with the dentist. The RDA will also prepare operatory, sterilize instruments, and monitor the inventory of supplies and instruments.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate from a California Board-approved RDA education program.
- Current California Registered Dental Assistant License (Coronal Polish/X-ray/Sealants) - Pit & Fissure Sealants must be completed by first license renewal
- Current BLS Certification from American Heart Association
- Infection Control Certificate
- California Dental Practice Act Certificate
- Current California Driver's License and clean driving record
- Familiarity with dental terminology, instruments, materials and medications used during dental procedures.
- Knowledge of professional and ethical standards of health care delivery.
- Availability to work outside of normal shifts (e.g., 8am to 5pm) and on Saturdays.
- Computer proficiency, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook and Word, and with electronic health record data entry.
- Bonus points if you're bilingual (English/Spanish) or have community clinic experience!

The pay range for this role is $29.99 to $43.48 on an hourly basis.
