Perio Central a trusted practice supported by Mosaic Dental Collective, is looking for an upbeat, dependable, and team-oriented Registered Dental- Surgical Assistant (RDA) to join us in Spokane, WA. Shift: Varied adjustable shifts- 3 10's or 4 8's, Mon- Fri
Pay Range: $25.34-$28.64+ hr.
What You’ll Do
- Assist the dentist during a wide range of periodontal and endodontic clinical procedures
- Prepare and sterilize rooms and instruments with care and consistency
- Take digital x-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients on post-op care and oral health maintenance
- Help keep the day flowing with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Blood draws
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
- 1+ years of Surgical RDA experience preferred, including implants, extractions, grafting, periodontal procedures, sterile techniques, and surgical instrumentation
- Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state
- Highly organized and attentive to patients’ needs
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Must be able to explain procedures and educate patients.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and exhibit a compassionate and caring demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a diverse dental team.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Endodontic experience a plus, but not required.
- Experience with PRP/PRF and blood draws preferred
- DAANCE, PALS, or ACLS Certification preferred
