A vital part of an expanding dental team
Does a beautiful smile light up your day? As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will play an essential role in giving our patients something to smile about! This position will work specifically with our school-based dental team, going onsite to area schools for treatment. This position may also be required to work in the Health Centers as needed.
On a daily basis, you will provide services for the patients in our community! In this position, you will provide preventative dental services including, health education, screenings, prophylaxis, fluoride, and sealants.
A Dental Hygienist is a vital part of Finger Lakes Community Health - one of the fastest-growing health centers in New York State. With eight health centers, serving over 28,000 patients, we provide primary care, dental and behavioral health services.

Qualifications:
- A current, unrestricted NYS Dental Hygienist License required
- CPR certification required
- Prior experience is a plus, but not required
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with personnel, patients, and community partners
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- The ability to work flexible hours -- some evenings are required
- The ability to communicate fluently in both Spanish and English is preferred
