- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans*
- Provide nutrition counseling and patient education*
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the treatment team*
- Monitor patient progress and modify nutritional interventions as appropriate*
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation*
- Support quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Active Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)*
- Ability and willingness to work with patients in a secured and/or locked healthcare environment*
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills*
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, correctional, state hospital, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings*
- Experience with electronic medical record systems*
- Clinical nutrition and patient care planning experience
