Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection prevention guidelines, and patient safety standards.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations and provide critical nursing interventions as needed.
Requirements
Experience Required: 2 years
License Required: CA state License
Certifications Required: BLS
