Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In this role you will be:
- Performing echocardiography studies on infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric inpatients and outpatients.
- Exercising independent judgment in emergency situations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited sonography/echocardiography program
- EXPERIENCE: Training and clinical experience in the different modalities of echocardiography including transthoracic, pediatric, transesophageal, exercise stress, and Dobutamine stress echocardiography preferred
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- Registered or registry-eligible as a diagnostic medical sonographer or diagnostic cardiac sonographer required
- BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire
