Registered Nurse- Internal Medicine

Immediate need for a talented Registered Nurse- Internal Medicine . This is a Full Time – Days Shift opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Austell, Georgia, (Onsite). • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and implement individualized, evidence-based care plans
• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care across the care continuum
• Coordinate care through effective interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
• Administer medications and treatments according to clinical standards and protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and care plans
• Participate in performance improvement, quality initiatives, and patient safety activities
• Support continuity of care to reduce readmissions and adverse events
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to nursing staff or students as needed
• Comply with professional nursing standards, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills; Experience providing direct patient care
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-centered care skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer skills
• Ability to respond calmly and decisively to emergency situations
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of evidence-based nursing practice and standards of care
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
