About the Role
Join SGH's dedicated Senior Care team and make a difference in the lives of older adults with behavioral health needs. As a PRN RN, you'll provide high-quality, compassionate care while supporting patients and families through individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress
- Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs
- Respond to emergencies and initiate resuscitative measures per protocols
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to infection-control standards
- Supervise and direct LPNs, Nurse Aides, and support staff
- Monitor crash carts, equipment, and supply inventory
- Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
- Participate in continuing education to maintain nursing competency
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Licensure: Current RN license in Mississippi (Required)
- Certifications: CPR/BLS (Required); ACLS Preferred
- Experience: Previous experience in geriatric or psychiatric care preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment as required.
