Pay Range:
$38.20 - $57.30LCH 3K is a 22-bed medical observation unit. We primarily serve the child and adolescent behavioral health population. Occasionally, we do see patients with medical issues that are stable in nature. Our patients come to us with various diagnoses. These diagnoses include suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, eating disorders, schizophrenia, autism, and sex trafficking to name a few. Our unit serves as a safe place for these youth to be while the team finds the next level of care or services that they need to be stable. Our team is a dynamic, passionate, and diverse group. We are made up of nurses, psychiatric technicians, healthcare technicians, and patient safety attendants. Our passion is to serve these patients in a caring and safety focused manner. We receive great satisfaction in making a difference in the lives of these youth who are going through some incredibly difficult times. All of our staff receive Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training and certification to assist in working with those patients who can and do become agitated and aggressive at times.
Expectations We’re Looking For:
Looking for candidates with a passion for behavioral health, prior experience preferred.
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates.
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS and PALS are required within 6 months of hire.
