Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical - Travel Position (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)
Location: Chandler, AZ• Job Type: Travel Contract• Duration: 13 weeks• Shift: 3x12 NightsPay: $2,071.80/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Position Summary
The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions and surgical needs. This role requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established standards.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: BSN or ADN required.
- License: Current RN license in [State/Region].
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience; medical-surgical experience preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Work Schedule
- Full-time / Part-time
- Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
