Overview

Job Summary

This position is a Registered Nurse (RN) for Radiology. Areas of responsibility include IR, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound. Candidate will take a rotating call schedule every 4-5 weeks and able to be at the facility within 1 hour of callback.

Responsibilities

Preoperative care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
Intraoperative care including cardiac monitoring and administration of moderate sedation.
Postoperative care / recovery of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
Implements the plan of care.
Evaluates the plan of care.
Administers medications as prescribed.
Provides patient, family, and/or significant other health teaching/education.
Participates in activities designed to improve health care delivery.
Communicates/collaborates with others in providing patient care.
Provides clinical leadership
Supports life long learning
Completes assigned goals

Experience

1-2 years of ICU, ED, or procedural area experience required.
