RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs 7A Family Medicine: Hospital Extension U07A is a18 Bed Medical Surgical Unit at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston South Carolina. Family Medicine is similar to General Medicine and we see patients over their lifetime past eighteen years of age often times with chronic illnesses. With this we see more Medical patients, but we have surgical patients placed on the floor in smaller numbers. Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 820 Scrub Color: All RNs - Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal blue bottoms. Charting: EPIC Parking Cost: Parking management office (located 91presidents street) to obtain parking permit. $20 registration fee for a hang tag which will allow use of the garage. No additional fees. Hang tag will not cover parking in any other locations. If parking outside of the 91 Street Parking Garage, additional fees may be incurred. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year.
