This role is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient-centered nursing care throughout the perioperative process while ensuring patient safety, quality outcomes, and effective communication among the surgical team. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and skilled RN who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care utilizing the nursing process and established clinical standards.
• Administer medications, treatments, and patient interventions as appropriate.
• Monitor patient status and promptly communicate changes in condition.
• Prioritize patient care needs and respond effectively to urgent situations.
• Coordinate care with physicians, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support patient transfers, admissions, and discharges as needed.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and care plans.
• Advocate for patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Promote a safe and efficient surgical environment.

Schedule

• Full-Time Days
• Rotating weekends
• On-call responsibilities
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Scheduling flexibility may be required

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• PALS certification required within 3 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in perioperative or surgical services
