Registered Nurse (Rn) - Interventional Radiology

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology Location: Wellington, FL 33414 Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)

Hour: 40 hours Schedule Notes: Mon - Fri 07:00 – 15:30 with call required

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Active RN License for FL or Compact state License.
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2 Years IR Acute Care Experience Required
• Neuro Stroke Experience Required
• Cerner experience required

Job Summary:

• Fulfills the needs of the patients, families and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
• Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring and efficient manner.
• Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age appropriate care.
• Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patient s needs
• Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients
• Makes initial assessment, and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidence by appropriate documentation
• Performs initial and ongoing assessment on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidence by appropriate documentation
• Completes admission assessment in time frame established, according to policy and procedures * 3 years plus of IR experience is required.
