We are proud to provide our community with care that is patient-centered and value-added. We strive to give every patient, family member, and visitor our undivided attention and time. Our fast paced Med/Surg environment prepared nurses to handle anything thrown their way as they grow in their career.

Position Summary:

This position coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient advocate and works as part of a team with ancillary and non-nursing departments.Assesses the patient‘s condition and nursing care needs

Sets goals and prescribes appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative needs of patients

Develops individual nursing care plans

Implements care plans and makes revisions as needed

Evaluates patient care outcomes

Collaborates with physicians and other hospital employees

Administers medications, treatments and therapies.

Communicates with patients and oversees provision of care.

Minimum Qualifications:Associates Degree in Nursing,

required

KY RN state licensure or compact licensure,

requiredBachelor‘s Degree in Nursing,

preferred

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
