Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
Location: Rapid City, SD
Schedule: Full-Time | 4 Ten-Hour Shifts (No Nights, No Mandatory OT)

Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program
As an eligible FQHC site, our RNs may qualify for the Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program, which can repay a significant portion of qualifying nursing education loans in exchange for a service commitment.
(Final eligibility and award decisions are determined by the Nurse Corps program.)
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in our outpatient clinical setting. This role emphasizes preventive care, chronic disease management, patient education, and continuity of care in partnership with providers and care team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in support of primary care services
- Administer immunizations, medications, and treatments per protocol
- Perform triage, patient assessments, and follow-up care
- Educate patients on treatment plans, preventive care, and wellness
- Collaborate with providers, care coordinators, and support staff
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Support quality improvement and population health initiatives
Qualifications
- Current RN license in SD (or ability to obtain)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- CPR/BLS certification
- Prior clinic, primary care, or community health experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and patient education skills
- Commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations
