As a Surgery RN, you'll be part of a highly specialized team where innovation, teamwork, and patient-centered care come together every day. Working in one of the region's most advanced surgical environments, you'll support patients through a wide range of procedures, from minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries to complex specialty and trauma cases.
You'll collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and perioperative professionals who are committed to delivering safe, high-quality care and outstanding patient outcomes. What You'll Do
- Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients throughout the perioperative experience.
- Partner with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Support a variety of surgical specialties, including robotic, minimally invasive, general, specialty, and trauma procedures.
- Utilize critical thinking and clinical expertise to anticipate patient and procedural needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Advocate for patient safety while maintaining surgical best practices and quality standards.
- Coordinate care, communicate effectively across teams, and support efficient surgical workflows.
- Educate patients and families throughout the surgical journey.
Required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or another compact licensure state.
Preferred
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Previous surgery or perioperative nursing experience.
