- Pay Rate: $70.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: 4x10-Hour Days, 07:00 17:30, Monday Friday; Call requirement: one day per week, one weekend per four weeks; call numbers may fluctuate if a colleague calls out sick

Job Summary
This is a Cath Lab travel nursing position requiring an RN who is able to scrub for all procedures, not just diagnostic. Structural Heart Scrub experience is a mandatory requirement candidates without this experience will not be considered. The unit operates across 3 rooms and performs a range of complex interventional and structural heart procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub for all Cath Lab procedures not limited to diagnostic cases
- Monitor patients using PA Lines and Telemetry
- Perform and assist with Cath Lab procedures including Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left & Right Heart Catheterization, and Rotablader
- Participate in call coverage: one day per week and one weekend per four weeks, with on-call and callback requirements
- Float when required (rare; would be to EP if needed; unit has a patient holding area inside the Cath Lab that the traveler may be assigned to on occasion, which is part of the Cath Lab)
- Perform complex procedures as required by the lab, including complex PCIs
- Utilize unit systems: EPIC and MAC Lab
Required Skills
- Structural Heart Scrub experience (mandatory candidates without this will not be screened)
- Scrub proficiency
- Monitor proficiency
- PA Lines experience
- Telemetry experience
- TAVR experience
- Cath Lab procedure experience: Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left & Right Heart Catheterization, Rotablader
Preferred Skills
- Circulate
- IV Start
- Conscious Sedation
- Cath Lab procedure experience: Watchman Procedures, Septal Closure, Ablations, Coil Embolization, Filter Placement
- Rhythm Interpretation (EKG Settings & Experience)
- ARRT Advanced Certification
Education Requirements
- Active RN License required
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Must pass EKG Testing prior to start (required for this specialty)
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Shift: 4x10-Hour Days, Monday Friday, 07:00 17:30
- On-call requirement: one day per week, one weekend per four weeks schedule; call numbers may fluctuate if a colleague calls out sick; callback required
- Weekend call required
- Floating may occasionally be required (rare; would be to EP; patient holding area inside the Cath Lab is also part of the assignment scope)
- Scrubs provided
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- COVID-19 vaccination: not required
- Target ratio: 3 rooms
Important Notes
- RTO after booking is not allowed and may not be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit could result in a contract cancellation and DNR.
- Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.
- Manager will not extend an offer without first speaking to or interviewing the candidate. Please provide candidate interview availability for the next 72 hours when submitting.
