Contract Details

- Pay Rate: $56.80 $60.80 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM

Job Summary
This is a contract Operating Room RN position based at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Polson, MT. The position covers all areas within the surgery department, including Pre/Post Op, Circulating, PACU, and Endo, and will float between units. OR specialties include OBGYN, Ortho, GI, ENT, Pain, and Dental. The EMR system used at this facility is Epic.
Key Responsibilities
- Float between units as required
- Provide nursing care across all areas of the surgery department, including Pre/Post Op, Circulating, PACU, and Endo
- Perform on-call duties as required (variable call on weekends and nights, 8 shifts/month)
- Work every 3rd or 4th weekend depending on rotation and time-off requests
- Maintain expected patient care ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:4 as assigned
- Work across OR specialties including OBGYN, Ortho, GI, ENT, Pain, and Dental
Required Skills
- Operating Room nursing experience across multiple specialties
- Ability to work in all areas of the surgery department: Pre/Post Op, Circulating, PACU, and Endo
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Availability for on-call shifts (variable call on weekends and nights)
- Availability for weekend rotations (every 3rd or 4th weekend)
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Position is 5 days/week, 8-hour shifts; 4 days/week, 10-hour days may be a possibility
- On-call required: variable call on weekends and nights, 8 shifts/month
- Weekends required: every 3rd or 4th weekend depending on rotation and time-off requests
- Float between units required
- COVID-19 vaccination: Not required
- 48-hour shifts: Not approved
