Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages. This role supports a fast-paced ER environment managing everything from minor injuries to critical trauma cases.
Schedule
12-hour shifts
Option 1: 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM
Option 2: 3:30 PM – 4:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
Assess patient conditions, identify urgent and emergent situations, and prioritize care accordingly
Initiate emergency interventions when a physician is not immediately available
Operate and monitor emergency equipment, including cardiac monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and pulse oximeters
Administer medications, IV therapy, respiratory support, and mechanical ventilation as ordered
Accurately document patient care, assessments, interventions, and coordination with the care team
Assign and delegate tasks to team members based on patient needs and staff competencies
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience
Active Oklahoma RN license or Compact State RN license
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
Ability to meet pre-employment requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.)
