Job Description

Position: Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Tahlequah, OK 74464

Pay: $52/hr.

Contract: 13 weeks with possible extension

Schedule: 3x12s | Days (flexible with night shift if needed, but not required)

EMR: Cerner

Attire: Navy blue scrubs

Responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a Med-Surg environment
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor vital signs
Document care accurately in the Cerner EMR system
Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families
Respond to changes in patient condition and perform rapid assessments
Maintain a safe and clean patient care environment while following all policies and protocols
Participate in orientation, unit procedures, and ongoing quality initiatives
Support the unit by being flexible with shift needs as appropriate

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Med Surg RN experience
Active Oklahoma or Compact RN license
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
Must be able to work day shifts (flexibility for nights is a plus)
Experience caring for pediatric patients is preferred
