Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med | SurgLocation: Slidell, LA 70458Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension)Shift: 3 x 12-Hour Night ShiftsDepartment : Med Surg UnitNote: Candidate must reside 65 miles from the facilityRequirements:
- Active LA state RN License or Multi-State Compact RN License
- Current BLS certificate.
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg experience is required.
- Strong Medical Surgical clinical background.
- Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to Medical Surgical patients.
- Perform comprehensive initial and ongoing patient assessments, including system reviews and documentation.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs.
- Deliver age-appropriate care by applying knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan.
- Accurately assess patient conditions, interpret clinical findings, and determine appropriate nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation.
- Adhere to all facility policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
