Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Location: Aiken, SC 29801 Duration: 3 months+ (with possible extension) Schedule: 6:30 to 17:00 Shift Days: 4x10 hour shifts, days will vary depending on need. Requirements: Associate degree in Nursing (A.D.N) – Required. A state professional registered nurse license or multi-state compact license is required. BLS is required. At least one year of OR experience is required. Job Description: The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and member of the operating team. Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure. Assembles equipment, supplies, and ensures equipment is functional, and supplies/implants are available.
