Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room, Quick OfferLocation: Lafayette, LADuration: 3 months with possible extensionShift: 7:00pm - 7:30am, 3*12, every other weekend required.Key Responsibilities:

  • Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency.
  • Quickly assessing patient needs.
  • Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma.
  • Performing minor medical operations.
  • Cleaning wounds.
  • Drawing blood.
  • Maintaining emergency room care standards.
  • Assisting with insurance paperwork.
  • Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process.
  • Displaying strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios.
Requirements:
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • PALS
  • LA RN License or compact state license
  • 2 Yr of recent experience in an Acute Hospital setting.
