Job Description
Immediate Registered Nurse (RN) contract opportunity available for our Corporate Health Center in Portland, OR (Kenton area).Pay Rate: $50.00/hr
Work Schedule:
- 3:00pm to 11:30pm (Monday to Friday)
- 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for medical surveillance appointments including hearing testing and injury triage and evaluation
- Evaluate and treat all injuries and illnesses in an efficient and professional manner within the scope of practice and consistent with clinical nursing guidelines.
- Performs occupational and health screening tests as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
- Assess healthcare needs, then implement and manage healthcare programs to improve health and facilitate return to work, maintain OSHA records/reports and worker medical files.
- Identifies emergency situations and provides care.
- Administers medications and medical treatments competently as directed by a Physician
Qualifications:
- RNs with prior occupational health, ER or ambulatory care experience preferred.
- Currently licensed Registered Nurse
- Current hands on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required.
- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
