Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to medical/surgical patients in an inpatient setting
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and mid-level providers
- Monitor patient vital signs, condition changes, and treatment responses
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record
- Coordinate patient care with physicians, pharmacists, therapists, and other healthcare team members
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning
- Respond to emergent and urgent patient situations following established protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
- Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state
- Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
ScheduleFull-time, 40 hours per week. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based on facility needs.
