Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) Advanced Pain and Spine Flouro
Status/FTE: FT / 1.0 FTE
Shift length: 10 hours
Start Time: 0700
Unit: Surgery
Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Four (4) 10-hour shifts weekly
Required qualifications:
- Current state RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
- One (1) year of experience with moderate sedation in an emergency endo/OR setting
Preferred qualifications:
- BSN
- Ambulatory clinic experience
Additional Information/Department information: The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines.
