Job Description

Job Title: Prep and Recovery RN – Cath Lab (13-Week Temp)Overview: Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Prep and Recovery RN in the Cath Lab, providing essential pre- and post-procedure patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role is perfect for experienced RNs seeking a rewarding opportunity to showcase their skills in cardiac and interventional recovery, with an immediate start date and a 13-week assignment. Make a meaningful impact while advancing your career in a supportive, patient-focused setting.Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in prepping and recovering patients for cardiac procedures such as Cardiac Cath (groin and radial site training required), Peripheral interventions, and management of phase 2 post-sedation care
  • Ability to handle TAVR/AAA endo procedure recovery and post-care of Interventional Radiology procedures including Arteriograms, AV Fistula care, Biopsies, Tube/Drain placements, Vertebroplasty/Kypho, Uterine Artery Embolization, PE/DVT cases
  • Current Kansas or multistate license in good standing, along with ACLS and BLS certifications through AHA—must be valid at time of submission, no pending licenses or certifications accepted
  • Strong clinical skills in patient preparation and recovery, with attention to detail and safety protocols
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • BSN preferred
  • Prior experience with TAVR/AAA procedures and Interventional Radiology recovery is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
  • Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM, full-time, Days only — no weekends, holidays, or call required
  • Immediate availability for interview and start; compliance documents due by Thursday, 06/25/2026
  • Must be able to commit to a 13-week assignment starting around July 6, 2026
